MSN default setting is not allow user to save the history, if you want to do so, simply do the following:

Lanuch MSN 6.0 (or any version), in the MSN main Windows, click [TOOLS] > [OPTIONS] > [MESSAGE] > tick [Automactic Keep a history of my conversation], change the location if you wanted. Click [Change] in the same dialog and select the folder you wanted.
